The “Garden Isle” may be paradise, but its principal airport badly needed renovation. The State of Hawaii contracted Goodfellow Bros., Inc., to demolish the old runway and construct one to FAA standards.
Kittitas County Airport, Washington
To rebuild the runway, Goodfellow Bros., Inc., pulverized and removed existing pavement, installed a drainage system, added lighting, graded, paved and striped the new runway, all within budget and on time–and all while keeping the existing cross runway open.

In this remote Alaskan village, Goodfellow Bros., Inc., created an airport that would link the community to the world. But Akiak is built mainly on sand and silt. Lacking the materials necessary to construct the runway, Goodfellow Bros., Inc., barged in crushed materials via the Kuskokwim River.
